The surgery is starting the flu campaign from the end of September and we urge patients to contact the surgery for clinic times as soon as possible.
We are running Saturday clinics in an attempt to ease the work load that has to be carried out in week day clinics.
We would urge patients who are
Over age of 65yrs or who have Diabetes or COPD or Heart Disease or have had a Stroke or have Kidney Disease or are immunosuppressed, along with pregnant ladies to have their injections as soon as possible.
All healthy children aged 2,3,4 years and children and adolescents aged 2-17 years who fall into the at risk categories are eligible for the nasal influenza spray.
